Advisors, educators, and influencers play a crucial role in guiding students towards the physical therapy profession. The IPTF and APTA have partnered to simplify this process through the APTA Physical Therapy Moves Me campaign and the IPTF Careers in PT Ambassador program.

The IPTF Careers in PT Committee is looking for passionate Illinois PT and PTA students to inspire the next generation of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Ambassadors will give presentations to high school and middle school students about the PT profession, pathways to becoming a PT/PTA, and the role of physical therapy in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We provide PowerPoint presentations and suggested activities to make it easy for you. Presentations can be in-person or virtual, based on your preference.

Benefits:

• Earn $50 per session (up to $500 per year).
• Help raise awareness and increase diversity in the profession.
• Gain valuable experience and give back to the community.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be a current student member of the IPTA.
