Chicago Street Medicine
About Chicago Street Medicine
Chicago Street Medicine is a non-profit organization that brings healthcare to individuals experiencing homelessness in Chicago. They believe everyone should have access to quality healthcare, regardless of their housing situation. To achieve this, they rely on dedicated medical student volunteers from chapters across the city – Loyola CSM, University of Illinois Chicago CSM, University of Chicago CSM, and Northwestern CSM. These volunteers provide regular, direct medical care on the streets within their communities.
Calling All PTs and PTAs: Make a Difference Today
Chicago Street Medicine is seeking passionate Physical Therapists (PTs) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join their team of volunteers and work with the Loyola chapter. Many of the people they serve could benefit greatly from physical therapy expertise.
